Rules for Nova Live Events

  1. Regular live event rules apply to Nova events, with a few variations.

  2. Teams are being decided on at the start of each Team-Trivia and written down by the Host. You can only be a member of one team, but you can join the Trivia at any time as long as you team up with another person without a partner and tell the host.

  3. The points each partner earns are added up in the end of the Trivia and that number goes onto the scoreboards, for both partners seperately.

  4. Each live event will include questions on Star Wars, Star Trek, and Fantasy. Topics of the Fantasy questions may vary from event to event.

  5. The first person to answer correctly is awarded a Real Point. If both team members answer correctly within the same second, the team is awarded two RPs. Silly Points are also credited to each team, so teams can score up to two SPs per round – in theory.

  6. If the first person to answer is not a member of a team, the answer is forfeit and if a player who is in a team answers within 2 seconds, they are awarded the point.
